Rare hybrid solar eclipse: deeper meaning of the skies "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

Next Thursday the sky will host a celestial phenomenon with the rare Hybrid Eclipse a type of solar eclipse that shifts from annular to total and back to annular along the course of its path. This event will reach its point of totality in Exmouth, near WA where the moon passes between the sun and the earth turning daylight to darkness for just over 60 seconds. This is described as a deep black bullet hole in the sky surrounded by a ghostly corona.

First Nations people have been studying the skies for millennia, with research highlighting a detailed knowledge system shaped around the Sun, Moon, planets and broader relationships. It has been said that eclipses in particular hold a special significance.

Vacuous vegans have limited intelligence due to iron deficiency "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

by Lyndesy Symonds

I have been following David Hiscox and xyz.net.au account of the stoush between raunchy vegan activist Tash Peterson (vegan booty merch online) and ADL Big Jew Kahuna (none other than: drum roll please) Dvir Abramovich, chairman of the Anti-Defamation Commission.

In her campaign against Easter Eggs, young Tash has come out against the atrocities of the dairy industry and (additionally ) the industries of meat, egg, leather, wool, fur, down, animal entertainment, racing breeding, testing.

In her zeal for the vegan cause, she has thrown the holocaust card on the play describing the Easter Egg industry (an other animal industries) as the largest holocaust in history with approximately three trillion non-human people brutally murdered every year for human food consumption.

This definitely does not cream cheese the Bagel. Outrage, blasphemy and sacrilege have been committed. The veil of the Holy of Holies has been rent. The wheat is eaten.

I tell you, Goyim, it just does not get better than this. It would seem that Tash (of vegan booty online) did not get the memo that the Jews have won the eternal suffering sweepstakes. She has challenged ADL moral high ground (MHG) and sacred victimhood (SaV) with their own power word which may not be taken in vain by lesser breeds, a word to which the Jews ha...

Wind power dangerous, has killed people and livestock while a wind farm cannot boil a jug "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

by Brian Johnson

Wind turbines are useless and solar has limitations. We are faced with a very serious situation.

Wind turbines cannot produce the essential and legally required 50 hertz energy. The very energy required for our homes and factories. A wind turbine, a wind farm, cannot boil a jug, besides wind turbines are Asynchronous. Wind turbines do produce useless and dangerous harmonics which through smart meters are fraudulently added to consumers power accounts hence the reason consumers complained of rising energy costs after the smart meter was installed. The old black analogue meter could not register unwanted harmonics.

These towers cannot boil a jug

Wind turbines do not produce more energy the faster they spin, that is not how electricity is generated. For example a hydro or coal fired power station generator is required by law to operate at a fixed speed and to produce an exact 50 hertz.
All generators on a grid must produce the exact same 50 hertz at the exact same time as required by law thus we refer to a Synchronous grid.

The dangerous component is the rising earth voltages which has led to loss of life in humans and livestock.
I am aware of a plumber who was electrocuted years ago as the result of Asynchronous generation.
There is a report of livestock dying in France.
There is a report of broken ankles at the Antarctic when the earthing system acted as an element and melted snow.

Pack Rapists Showed A Certain Degree Of Callousness, Laments Victorian Judge "IndyWatch Feed National"

Maybe Ive missed it, but there seems to be a very muted response from the Australian public to a story that broke overnight which should be stoking widespread outrage. Chris Graham explains.

The rape case, from a regional court in Victoria, involves two young men ganging up on a female friend at a 21st birthday party in 2016. The story has been widely reported by national media, in some cases multiple times. Heres the ABCs take:

Two men twice convicted of raping and sexually assaulting a woman at a party in regional Victoria seven years ago have been spared further prison time, and will instead serve community corrections orders.

Following a retrial last year, Shaun Bloomfield, of Horsham, and Luke Merryfull, of Geelong, both 28, were sentenced for the rape today in the Melbourne County Court. The men raped a young woman in a caravan at a party near Balmoral, south of Horsham in western Victoria, in April 2016.

The pairs initial convictions were overturned on appeal after a witness came forward with new evidence the day after the men were jailed in April 2019.

Bloomfield and Merryfull each spent 522 days in prison before the Court of Appeal overturned their convictions in September 2020.

The case then went to several retrials before the men were convicted for the second time in August last year, after pleading not guilty to the charges against them.

Thats the bare facts. Now heres how its being reported over in Korea: Two men convicted of raping a woman in 2016, have walked free from court, with a judge ruling they shouldnt spend any more time behind bars. Theyd already been jailed for a year. (sic) But county court judge David Brookes said theyd suffered enough, given extraordinary delays in the case.

The poor bastards. Imagine having to suffer through extraordinary legal delays, a substantial proportion of which happened to be the direct result of their first conviction being appealed by them.

Slow clap for the Australian justice system for yet another demonstration of how wildly incapable it is of dealing rationally and equitably with the crime of rape.

Unfortunately, the problem here is not merely the sentencing of the two men, which is manifestly inadequate. The problem is also the comments of the sentencing judge, David Brookes. For the real gravity of that to emerge,

Judge Brooks reject...

Beach Energy [ASX:BPT] Q3 Activities Report Production and Revenue Drops "IndyWatch Feed Qld"

Oil and gas exploration company Beach Energy [ASX:BPT] reported its latest activities summary and highlights for the third quarter 2023.

The energy group admitted to a 5% quarterly drop in production by reporting the total of 4.5 MMboe (million metric barrels of oil equivalent), and revenue was 13% below the prior quarter.

BPT dropped very lightly in share price following the update and was trading around $1.52 a share at the time of writing.

In the past month, BPTs share price has improved by more than 8%, but its still down nearly 5% in the year so far:

ASX:BPT Beach Energy Stock chart news 2023

www.TradingView.com

Beach posts lower production and sales

In its third quarter report, the energy company has revealed 5% less production than the previous quarter, down to 4.5 MMboe.

Gas production was reportedly hit by impact of 10 days worth of downtime at the Otway Basin, while this period was planned, it still had a negative effect on the groups production in the quarter. It might not have been quite so bad if it werent for further (unplanned) events that also played a part.

The company also revealed that there were lower submissions, in part, due to surplus gas after the LNG outage in Queensland, and then there were some unforeseen outages at the Cooper Basin JV.

Beside the lower productions at working sites, Beach also provided updates on its active drilling campaigns across its gas assets in the Perth Basin. Its exploration is also continuing as planned.

Beach says that overall, it has managed 89% drilling success rate from 36 wells.

The Perth Basin gas exploration campaign has begun, with spudding of Trig 1, while in New Zealand, Valaris 107 rig is secured for the Kupe South developments, also targeting spud in the first quarter of FY24.

Cooper Basin has been tracking along with 33 wells now underway, with an overall success rate of 87%.

Stronger laws needed to protect privacy and prevent data harvesting "IndyWatch Feed National"

As more people and their personal data fall victim to increased data harvesting in Australia, the Human Rights Law Centre is calling on the Federal Government to embrace bold proposed reforms to better protect peoples right to privacy.

Two years after the review of the Privacy Act was announced and following extensive public consultation, in February the Attorney Generals Department proposed a suite of much-needed reforms to protect privacy in the digital age.

Key proposals include placing additional requirements on entities that handle peoples personal information, giving people more transparency and control over how and when their data is used for targeted advertising, and improving options for people to seek redress in situations where their privacy has been breached.

The Human Rights Law Centre welcomes the proposals to strengthen privacy protections in line with international standards and supports stronger protections against invasive targeting, and the introduction of a statutory privacy tort with appropriate safeguards.

The Human Rights Law Centre also supports enhancing the privacy regulators enforcement functions and information gathering powers, and establishing a federal Charter of Human Rights, would help Australia to strike the balance between the right to privacy and other human rights.

Scott Cosgriff, Senior Lawyer at the Human Rights Law Centre said:

"Technology should serve communities, not put people at risk. Australias existing privacy laws are out-of-date and fundamentally inadequate for protecting human rights in the digital age.

As online business practices threaten to move further towards surveillance and intensive collection and retention of our personal information, the Albanese Government should embrace this opportunity to reclaim the right to privacy for people in Australia. In addition to updating the Privacy Act, the government should go further by protecting the right to privacy in a federal Charter of Human Rights.

"Giving people greater control over their own personal information will address the human rights risks posed by micro-targeted disinformation campaigns that can turbo-charge discrimination, facilitate political manipulation and distort public debate on matters of critical importance.

With existing privacy laws so seriously out of date, the Albanese Government must stand its ground against the powerful interests that profit from invasive data practices online, and take action to protect peoples lives.

How bad is the real estate market (Purchasing / Mortgage) "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

<div class="md"> <p>Alright folks,</p> <p>I've posted in this sub before about moving to the area sometime this year. Unfortunately, some things have caused me to tinker with my timeline. Macron wins respect on world stage and is reviled at home "IndyWatch Feed National"

Contributed from Victoria

Frances President Emmanuel Macron is making a mark on the world stage. At home its a different kind of mark. He raises the ire of most of his ow people. Both are the sides of the same coin, and in accord with the history of France. Take post Second World War leader De Gaulle. An autocrat at home and a fierce defender of Frances sovereignty abroad. Macron is of a similar mould.

This week, he marked out Frances independence from United States global geopolitics and launched a process of mending relations with China. He put his position as a defender of multipolarity, instead of an order of one dominant nation. He expressed a position that is strong and growing across Europe, behind the veneer of unity with the ambitions of the United States.

Photo by Ludovic Marin/AFP: Macron with Chinas leader Xi Jinping

Macron is winning kudos for this stand, as well as the predictable attacks, from those on the other side of the divide.

Back home, Macron is mired in the mess created by his ramming through by decree the raising of the pension age to 64. The scale of the response out in the streets and the wave of rolling strikes, by a for once united union movement, is far more than was expected.

Hindsight can now point to the realisation that this did not come out of the blue. The French have been becoming increasingly fed up with a series of what they see as attacks on their rights. There were the conditions gave rise to the Yellow Vest...

Like the US Australia has two Constitutions "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

By Lyndesy Symonds

An excellent video. Judaic rule always pulls this switcheroo in order to extinguish the legitimate jurisprudence.

She has nailed the important point in that the 1901 recognizes that the sovereignty rests with the people. The new corporate constitutions of 1973 invest that sovereignty with the Parliament and under the Australian CoVID regime that will be the National Cabinet [read politburo]. This act of investing the sovereignty with the Parliament is legally ultra virez completely outside the authority of the Parliament.

This switcheroo was pulled by the US Congress in the Act of 1871 , 41st Congress of the United States which became the foundation of the Communist takeover of the United States and all treason committed against the American people since that date. The 41st Congress enacted ultra virez a new constitution to become the new legal standard that would abrogate the original Constitution for the United States and its republic made by the Founding Fathers. The new constitution established the new legal standard of government: the USC (United States Code) Title 28 3002 (15) (A) (B) THE UNITED STATES, A FEDERAL COPORATION USC. February 21, 1871. Acts 41st US Congress, Section 34, Session III.

This is what Karen Eudes, formerly of the World Bank, means when she says : In the US there are two constitutions. The 1776 Constitution for the United States of America and the Constitution of the United States 1871.

It looks like the Parliament pulled the same switcheroo on Australia in 1973.

Our Policies are leading us toward a Communist state with as dreadful a certainty as if the leaders of the Kremlin themselves were charting our course General Douglas MacArthur to the Mississippi Legislature March 22, 1952.

Faith on Trial: Hillsong- a childrens level sensationalist podcast for the masses

This News Corp Faith on Trial: Hillsong podcast has come up with nothing new. It is just a sensationalist and shallow regurgitation of some of what has been known about the Houstons and Hillsong, most of it for a very long time.

One of the journalists involved in this News Corp podcast, a young lady from Finland, approached me at court and asked me for an interview. She told me what they were doing.

News Corp is a global media company owned by the Murdochs who live in New York City. Rupert Murdoch, now in his 90s, was an Australian who took up American citizenship over fifty years ago. One of his sons Lachlan now runs it. Lachlan used to live in Bronte Beach. For a time at the end of my street. I never approached him or spoke to him. Later he moved to a nice ocean view house near Bronte shops. Then he moved to America to help his dad. Recently he bought the most expensive house in America.

Surely the Murdochs could afford to pay someone knowledgeable and a real investigative journalist to research and dismantle Hillsong.

These New Corp journalists are mainly Gen Y and Gen X airheads.

gypten wollte Russland angeblich 40.000 Raketen fr ... "IndyWatch Feed National"

Egypt is a valued U.S. partner in counterterrorism, anti-trafficking, and regional security operations, which advance both U.S. and Egyptian security. The decades-long defense partnership is a pillar for regional stability. Since 1978, the United States has contributed more than $50 billion in military assistance, which has contributed to Egypts capabilities to protect and defend its land and maritime borders and to confront an evolving terrorist threat, including in the Sinai Peninsula.

Russia didnt blow up Nord Stream Trump "IndyWatch Feed National"

RT | April 12, 2023

Former US President Donald Trump has dismissed claims that Russia was behind the destruction of the Nord Stream gas pipelines last year, but said that speculating on the true perpetrator might get our country in trouble.

Speaking to Foxs Tucker Carlson in an interview set to air in full this week, Trump was asked for his thoughts about who blew up the Nord Stream pipeline, which was hit by multiple blasts under mysterious circumstances last September.

I dont want to get our country in trouble so I wont answer it. But I can tell you who it wasnt, was Russia. How about when they blamed Russia. They said Russia blew up their own pipeline. You got a kick out of that one, too. It wasnt Russia, he told the Fox News pundit.

While the US and other Western governments have so far offered few details about ongoing investigations into the sabotage, a February report by investigative journalist Seymour Hersh stated that US President Joe Biden had personally ordered the bombing as a way to persuade Germany to ramp up support for Ukraine amid its conflict with Russia.

Washington has vocally denied the report, which relied on anonymous sources, and insisted it had no role in the bombings. Its a completely false story. Theres no truth to it. Not a shred of it, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told Fox in February.

Ukrainian officials have similarly denied any involvement in the Nord Stream sabotage, and subsequent reporting by the New York Times has claimed that an unnamed pro-Ukrainian group was behind the attack. It is unclear how the group could have accomplished the bombing from a small pleasure yacht as reported, however, as the operation would have required military-grade explosives and experienced divers, among other things.

Hersh has rejected the Times account as part of a ...

A Timeless Struggle: Copts in Egypt "IndyWatch Feed National"

In 2015, 21 Coptic men walked the shores of Libya in bright orange jumpsuits towards their deaths at the hands of Islamic State, as the world observed it on mobile devices. However, while people worldwide watched with mouths agape, the greater Coptic community was not left dumbfounded nor surprised by the targeted attack. While the community was shaken by the death of the 21 martyrs, the event was certainly not unprecedented, neither in its intentions nor its effects.

Copts are a part of an ethno-religious minority located in modern day Egypt. Although they are a minority in a primarily Muslim country, Copts make up almost 10% of Egypts population. With over eight million Coptic people within the country, and their diasporic counterparts living predominantly in the United States, Canada, and Australia, there is approximately a total of 18 million Coptic people around the globe. Although there are millions of Copts, many only know the Coptic Orthodox church in the context of devastating news headlines describing church bombings, kidnappings, and executions within Egypt.

Christian persecution first became apparent in AD 249, when Roman Emperor Decius issued an edict to re-establish the state religion, requiring inhabitants to worship the gods of their Roman conquerors. With this edict, and blatant refusal to comply, persecution took place on an imperial scale, culminating in about 800,000 men, women, and children being martyred in Egypt under Roman Emperor Diocletian. As the river Nile ran red with the blood of the martyrs, it became apparent that these events in Egypt would be characterized as a monumental period of Christian persecution. For this reason, the Coptic Churchs calendar starts from AD 284, the year of Diocletians accession to the throne, and is referred to as Anno Martyrii meaning Era of the Martyrs. While Decius edict was initially put in place as a means to ensure that everyone in his empire could participate in full traditional sacrifices, some historians agree that Emperor Diocletians primary intention was to wipe out Christianity. Although Diocletians efforts seemed successful in the moment, the Diocletianic persecution failed to accomplish its goals in the long term, as the Roman Empire did not have the ability to overthrow an organization that had a sizable population inhabiting most of the provinces bordering the Mediterranean. Additionally, many Christian lead...

ABG President Issues Warning to people Trying to destabilize Panguna Mine legacy Impact Assessment "IndyWatch Feed Niugini"

By Angeline Karius, in Buka, ARoB - FM 100

The ABG President Ishmael Toroama has issued a warning to people seeking to destabilize the Panguna Legacy Impact Assessment that is ongoing within areas affected by the now defunct Panguna Mine.

Several parties are seeking legal action against Rio Tinto for their role in developing the Panguna Mine and the effects it has had on the environment and the communities around the mine.

The Panguna Legacy Impact Assessment is being funded by Rio Tinto through Tera Tech Coffey who is conducting the assessment.

This will be the first time Rio Tinto has made any commitment to Bougainville since the cessation of mining operations in Panguna, Central Bougainville.

According to President Toroama, the assessment took a lot of hard work and time to get Rio Tinto to at least take responsibility for its actions in developing the Panguna Mine and the effects of it that continues to the present.

These people are opportunists who saw no reason for a class action suit until the impact assessment was being conducted and the revelation of probable data being collected by Tetra Tech Coffey.

Our Late Revolutionary leader, Francis Ona sought a K10 billion class action suit against Rio Tinto because his intention was for the company to take responsibility for its actions and for the extent of damage caused by the mine including the civil war that caused the loss of thousands of lives.

Since the untimely passing of Francis Ona no-one has sought to revive the class action suit nor conduct a proper study on the extent of damage done by mine.

I will not let people with vested interests tarnish Francis Onas legacy and undermine the legitimate government of the people of Bougainville.

These are so called players who only appear on the scene only when it is convenient for them but never present during the heavy lifting.

I urge our leaders, the landowners, our people and all stakeholders to refrain from disrupting the assessment and let it be completed.

Let me be clear, my government is not protecting any other intere...

Four Signs Your Child is Struggling with Daycare "IndyWatch Feed National"

Starting childcare is a huge step for both the child and the parents. One on one hand, it gives the child a chance to explore and to learn how to interact with other children. On the other hand, it gives the parents a much-needed break and allows them to get used to being away from their child for a period of time.

Putting your child into daycare is an opportunity for growth and development for all parties involved. That said, the daycare experience isnt all sunshine and rainbows. Theres a possibility that your child might not get along with the other children at the centre. In some cases, you may find that the caretakers cant meet the specific needs of your child.

If your child is struggling, its your responsibility as a parent to recognise this and to take appropriate action.

In this blog, were going to take a look at a few tell-tale signs that your child might be struggling in daycare.

  1. A Change in Usual Behaviour
You should pay attention to any changes in behaviour in your children. If theyre usually lively and happy and you notice them becoming more withdrawn, theres likely something bothering them outside of home. On the same token, if your child is usually well-behaved and reserved and they start throwing tantrums at home, they might be having an issue at the daycare. If youre noticing such changes, it might be a good idea to ask your child if theyre having any problems at the daycare centre. If possible, you can also ask the caretakers at the centre about any concerns they might have about your child.

Another option is to observe your child at the centre. This will give a first-hand look of how your child is treated, how they interact with other children, how they eat, how they play and so on.

As much as possible, try to work with your provider to address any potential problems. Its very important to communicate your concerns to the caretakers and to not jump to conclusions.

  2. Crying When They Arrive in Daycare
For children, new experiences can be extremely intimidating. Because of this your child might start crying once you drop them off at the centre. For most children, this type of crying will typically last for a few weeks.

In most cases, it will stop once they have warmed up to their caretakers and have made a couple of friends. However, if the crying lasts for much longer than that, there might be a deeper issue than just new daycare jitters.

If this is the case, you might want to figure out what your child is struggling with at the daycare. Are they scared of the caretakers? Are they struggling to make friends? Do they not like the food? You should bring these concerns up with the carers and see if you can find a solution. If you cant, it may be time to find another daycare.

  3. Hungry and Thirsty When You Pick Them Up
    At...

Housing crisis preys on youth mental health "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

New research released by ReachOut Australia reveals one third of young Aussies reported the cost of living as one of the issues they are most concerned about. Forty per cent of those young people reveal the cost of living is having a major impact on their mental health.

Of those concerned about finances and living costs, 52 per cent reported experiencing sleep issues due to these worries, others experienced mood changes, more than half lacked motivation because of these concerns. Despite cost of living concerns, encouragingly, more than 60 per cent of young people surveyed reported feeling optimistic about the future often or some of the time.

Surprise! The COVID vaccines were never tested for safety "IndyWatch Feed National"

Steve Kirsch substack.com April 11, 2023

Executive summary

There were 31.2% higher deaths in the gold standard Pfizer Phase 3 clinical trials.

There is only one way to know whether or not the vaccine caused any of the deaths in the 21 vaccinated patients who died: proper histopathology.

Pfizer never did it and the FDA never asked for it.

This was the biggest mistake in the pandemic and nobody has acknowledged that or lifted a finger to correct it (as I point out below). Had they done the proper testing on the 21 deaths, the vaccine would never have been approved.

In lieu of the proper tests, there were assurances from Pfizer that nobody died from the vaccine. Thats absurd. We need the tests, not assurances. The tests are cheap and dispositive.

We can fix this in a New York minute, but nobody wants to know the answer.

Today, only Ryan Cole is doing the proper histopathology and in 100% of the cases hes been asked to look at, he can attribute the deaths to the vaccine.

Someday, I hope that well have leadership at the CDC that is not corrupt and that will ask Medical examiners to do the proper tests.

This can literally happen instantly. For example, the CDC says that tomorrow, every Medical Examiner in the US should do histopathology looking for the vaccine as a cause of death on the next person who dies. This is no big extra burden for a medical examiner just a few extra steps.

Or they can ask just a few medical examiners in highly vaccinated regions to run the extra tests on everyone who has an autopsy for the next 30 days (and to make sure that everyone who dies suddenly gets an autopsy done).

The bottom line is this: we could almost instantly have proof of whether the vaccine is safe and effective or not and the costs in time and money is de minimis.

The CDC is simply not interested in finding the truth about the vaccines, even though their job is to protect America from health threats:

Perhaps its time to re-write the CDCs mission statement to be more accurate? Here is my suggestion:

CDC works 24/7 to protect the vaccine manufacturers so that nobody in America ever finds out just how deadly the vaccines really are...

A new proposal to restrict Medicare access "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

As a way to fix the broken Medicare system, Associate Professor Fiona McDonald from the Australian Centre for Health Law Research at the Queensland University of Technology suggests making a bold restructuring effort.

Medicare will be restricted to GPs who agree to bulk bill all patients, while those who choose not to will need to rely solely on out-of-pocket payments. Fair remuneration should underpin all this.

Australian Medical Association (AMA) Vice President Dr Danielle McMullen thinks such a proposal is inherently unfair to all Australians who should have equal access to medical health care. Moreover, she predicted it would take ages to implement, whereas Australians desperately need a practical solution now.

Western Highlanders are proud,  self-centered,  hardworking, independent,  egocentric and business minded people.  They believe in education and wealth distribution through community obligations and challenges. They take ownership of their problems and resolve through dialogue and compensation.

They take pride of their own heritage and always cherish their identity. They  are never afraid or ashamed of speaking their language when ever they congrate or meet up with another Hagener.

They never take issue with people who are jealous of their achievements or being jealous of others who succeed. They try to improve their own lives by working hard.  They do not dwell on things that will not benefit them or waste their time and resources on lazy people.

Through hardwork,  they have succeeded in education,  business and politics.  The country talks about Western Highlanders and even try to imitate the way hageners do things and some succeeded.  These traits are gifts from God and Western Highlanders enjoy and hold dear to their hearts , however these traits are  now eroding as new social influence impacting the Western Highlands society.

Pentagon Confirms Document Leak "IndyWatch Feed National"

There is a mole within the Pentagon and officials are eagerly seeking to find the source. Someone has been leaking classified documents to the public that include plans to involve the international community in the Ukrainian conflict. Someone in the intelligence community wants the public to know about Americas increasing involvement in the Russia-Ukraine proxy war.

A source close to Zelensky has said that Ukraine has scrapped previous war strategies due to the leaked information. The documents actually mention that the US has been spying on Zelensky himself, which comes as no surprise. Chris Meagher, the assistant to the secretary of defense for public affairs, said the leak is under investigation and that they do not know how much information has been leaked. Meagher claims some of the documents have been altered in an attempt to cover up the truth. He is reassuring allies of our commitment to safeguarding intelligence and fidelity to our security partnerships.

The documents were highly classified and contained information on how the US spies on its allies and enemies alike. The documents began appearing on Discord servers, 4Chan, and other platforms about a month ago, with over 50 sensitive documents now revealed to the public. The Five Eyes intelligence alliance, which includes Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, are now urging the US to rectify the situation immediately. Time will only tell what secrets these documents reveal.

They could not deny that the papers were real. We have seen how the intelligence community treats those who expose the truth like Edward Snowden who must live out his existence in fear. The source knows the risks and will likely risk their life to expose the truth.

Deep State Almanac for Australia "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

by guest researcher Peter Campion*

Weve reached a juncture where the slumbering, disinterested, dangerously-uninformed masses of humanity are staring down the barrels of two disasters with no inkling theyre facing life-ending threats. Ill dissect these two disasters one at a time, starting with the one Cairns News readers can see so clearly.

Part one: The Obvious

As few as 30% of Westerners are aware of the threat posed by the secretive cabal of inbred anti-humanist billionaire globalists who want us to eat bugs, live in pods, own nothing, and be happy. The public faces of the cabal include the World Economic Forums Klaus Schwab, the United Nations Antonio Guterres, the World Health Organizations Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Microsofts Bill Gates, and George Soros of the Open Society Foundations. Theres many others, too, because the cabal is ancient. Most of them never surface publicly, but theyve been working secretly on their plans for generations.

The cabal conspirators, whose public faces meet in plain sight in Davos, are planning an economic Great Reset to replace free-market capitalism with a tyrannical global dictatorship, a pseudo-spiritual Great Narrative to replace the worlds religions with worship of the transhumanist state, and a Great Replacement to lock in pro-socialist voting blocs in democracies. They want total control of everything and everyone, because when you have all the money in the wo...

Population surge driving housing crisis new report "IndyWatch Feed National"

A  (PDF) finds that Australias housing crisis cannot be solved without a major slowing of population growth. Australia is experiencing record population growth, with an extra 650,000 migrants this financial year and next, set to drive a 900,000 surge in total population. The report finds record population growth is creating a perfect housing storm, worsening existing flaws in the housing market caused by negative gearing, capital gains tax discount, first home buyer grants and underinvestment in social housing.

The report by Sustainable Population Australia (SPA) says the housing crisis risks a dystopian future of homelessness and rent stress for many Australians for years to come.

SPA national president Jenny Goldie says SPA prepared the report because population growth is being overlooked as a key part of the policy response to the housing crisis.

The government turned on the immigration tap to full bore, and they could just as easily turn it down. This is an horrific social crisis, and the federal government should be held to account, Ms Goldie says.

According to the report, the insidious reframing of housing as a financial asset rather than a public necessity is shattering Australias social contract which promised dignity and security for all, Ms Goldie adds.

It is driving widening inequalities of wealth and personal autonomy. We have allowed these trends to intensify to the point where social cohesion is under severe strain.

The report calls for a combination of tax reform, regulation, investment in public housing and a sustainable population policy, to address the housing crisis.

It says all of the Albanese governments $10 billion proposed Housing Australia Future Fund should be used to build or buy social housing rather than the governments plan to invest the money in financial markets and build only with the dividends. The report brands the governments approach as irrational and risky.

But the report says that social housing on its own will not solve the housing crisis.  It points to strong evidence that population growth is a key driver of housing demand.

Thus, population growth must be slowed.  A target for net...

The government must address Australias growing inequality "IndyWatch Feed National"

Contributed by Joe Montero

Within a lacklustre economy, the Australian government is facing a situation that calls for growing intervention to do something about the reality of growing inequality. This is at a time when the ability to raise public revenue is contracting as well.

Lets look at the first part. Any serious research reports in recent years have shown clearly that there has been a growing divide between the few wealthiest and everyone else, and this divide is getting bigger now. A part of this is the impact of inflation, stagnant wages, and miserable Centrelink payments. They combine to form a cost of living crisis.

Australian household budgets have shifted in spending pattern. Spending on essentials like housing, food, health, and education has increased, while spending on non-essentials has fallen. This means that households ae tightening their belts.

But this doesnt reveal all.

A report released this week by the Australia Institute, and called Inequality on Steroids, spells out the extent to which this has become a reality in Australia.   Its main finding is that is the period mentioned above the richest 10 percent of the population got 93 percent of the wealth gains created in the Australian economy. It goes on to say that this increased wealth is the result of policies and practices designed to increase productivity in the workplace.

This was supposed to generate more jobs and lead to rising incomes for everyone. This failed to materialise and, unfortunately, government policy and procedures have remained wedded to the belief that this must continue and ignore the evidence.

Take the 2021 global survey by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which provided overwhelming evidence that the product has not only been worsening inequality for nations taking on this approach. Austerity is associated with poorer economic performance they said. This was backed in the same year by...

The Increasing Availability and Risk of Injectable Skinniness "IndyWatch Feed National"

Semaglutide, known by the brand names Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus and others, is the latest weight-loss craze to hit Hollywood and beyond. The prescription drug, which is administered via a weekly injection, is intended to treat Type 2 diabetes, but its widely used off-label for weight loss.

For those who want to dive deeper into the science, the AMA video by Peter Attia does a nice job of providing the background of this very popular drug. You should be aware, however, that although Peter is a brilliant physician, he is stuck in the conventional paradigm and we disagree on many aspects of health and longevity.

A 2021 study funded by Novo Nordisk, the drugs maker, found using semaglutide once a week led to a 14.9% reduction in body weight among adults with obesity.1 Theres been such a rush on the drugs that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration lists both Ozempic and Wegovy as currently in shortage. This, despite the drugs hefty price tag of about $1,400 a month.2

But quick fixes are rarely the answer when it comes to better health, especially in the case of complex issues like maintaining a healthy weight, which has mental, emotional and physical elements.

A weight loss drug, even if its seemingly effective, cannot address the underlying emotional drivers that may lead to overeating, for instance, and it wont save your health if you continue to eat an unhealthy diet no matter how thin your outward appearance may be.

By relying on medication to get thin, you rob your body of the chance to balance its weight naturally, in the way biologically intended, and expose yourself to untold side effects in the process.

Semaglutide Mimics GLP-1 in Your Body, Reducing Appetite

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs). As a peptide hormone, GLP-1 is, among other things, part of a group of incretin hormones, which are released when you eat to regulate insulin, along with many other functions.3

Along with affecting insulin, GLP-1 may influence the nervous system, leading to an appetite-reducing response. Many taking semaglutide report that the drug makes them feel full, faster, so theyre satisfied eating smaller amounts. According to a scientist writing under the name Modern Discontent on Substack:4

COLLECTION OF EXPERT WITNESS EVIDENCE

The task of obtaining signed affidavits from Expert Witnesses evidence from all over the World is quite a daunting task as you can imagine

It is even more difficult (and potentially costly) to obtain expert witnesses willing to appear during the court procedure, even via AVL (AudioVisualLink)

However, we are having success in our initial research and communication

In discussing Affidavits and rules with the Australian Federal Court, a much simpler system appears to be within the rules

That is, Sol the Plaintiff, submitting signed Affidavits with attachments, each of which is expert evidence from a reliable source. Of course, each attachment will describe the qualifications of the expert as well as describing the evidence

MAHA will appreciate any legal comment on this approach by any legal eagles amongst our readers

Evidence will be categorised as follows:

Sarscov2 virus not isolated
Covid disease is colds and flu renamed
PCR test failure cannot test for a disease
Biowarfare disguised as Covid Plandemic
TGA Malfeasance hiding death by covid vaccine statistics
Covid injection Death and Injuries
Grand Jury of Public Opinion Trial Corona Investigative Committee Dr Reiner Fuellmich
Easy to Understand evidence clearly and simply presented

Easy to Understand since the Class Action will be Trial by Jury and we need to initially present expert evidence in a way that is easy for the Jury to understand as much of the further detailed evidence as you may imagine is highly scientific

The quotes in the lead paragraph were all taken unattributed from the defence lawyers statements and given no context. This is boringly common in reporting on mens violence against women.

If you see a headline or summary paragraph full of sympathetic quotes about a man convicted of hurting women, its a safe bet the quotes come from the defence lawyer during the sentencing hearing. If the quotes are condemning the victim (woman accused of lying etc) its usually from the defence lawyer during cross-examination.

Im not much worried about this single article by this one reporter. My concern is the cumulative effect of thousands of such articles across hundreds of publications, where most readers flick their eyes over the headline or (at most) skim the article. These readers dont need to think deeply about the details and may not realise how their attitudes are shaped by the endless repetition of sympathy for men who hurt women and contempt for women who are hurt by men.

Those people vote. They serve on juries. They run businesses and sports clubs and libraries and pubs. They respond to friends or colleagues talking about men who hurt them. Their attitudes matter.

Journalists dont have to be activists and certainly, court reporters shouldnt try to be activists. But they should try to be accurate and informative. Ignoring the context of unattributed quotes is the very opposite of both these things.

So, to provide the context:

I think this was probably a sentencing hearing (the alleged court reporting doesnt tell us, so its difficult to be sure).

Victims typically only give evidence if the facts are disputed (at a contested hearing). Peters pled guilty, so the victims dont need to give evidence and there would be no quotes for the article.

Victims can, if they choose, give a Victim Impact Statement (VIS) at sentencing hearings, but they can also ask the court to suppress them (including any mention of the fact the VIS was given) so we cant know whether the reporter ignored the VIS, was unable to report it, or there was no VIS.

The prosecutions job at a sentencing hearing is to sum up the facts of the case, refer the court to...

FixedIt: What does a rapist look like? "IndyWatch Feed National"

He can look like a good bloke and a great friend.

He can look like your brother, your best mate, your colleagues or your footy mates.

He can look like your hero.

He can look like you.

If you know ten men in Australia theres a good chance you know a rapist. Yes, you too. Not some other guy who wouldnt know if his friend is a rapist. You.

A man who rapes women can be horrified when he is accused of rape.

A man who rapes women can cry when he is convicted of rape.

A man who rapes women can swear he never touched her and sound like hes telling the truth.

He is still a rapist.

Women almost never lie about being raped. Rapists almost always lie about committing rape.

At least (at the very least) half of women between the ages of 25 and 30 in Australia say they have been sexually assaulted in their lifetime. This violence is not happening at the hands of one or two bad apples.

Apples dont rape women. Men do. Probably a man you know.

Who do you want to be? The man who supports a rapist or the man who supports the woman who was raped?

Here, for your Friday afternoon entertainment, is a listicle germinated in the fetid bowels of  the Murdoch press.

Men who murdered women. Men who raped women. Men who raped children. More than twenty of them, complete with photos and salacious details of their crimes, often against multiple victims.

Sex pests. Thats what the Murdoch goblins call men who rape children and kill women.

Even without the abhorrent headline, this article would contaminate the bottom of a kitty litter tray.

HERES A LIST OF ALL THE PLACES WOMEN SHOULDNT GO!!!! but of course we dont  include all the places that sell Murdoch papers or serve Murdochs orc-infested empire.

HERES A COLLAGE OF RAPISTS THAT LOOKS LIKE A MOIVE PROMOTION!!!! hasnt this rapist got lovely blue eyes! Lets put him right in the middle. Aww. Cute.

HERES A SUMMARY OF ALL THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN HE RAPED!!! look at us jernalisming like a bought one.

I need a shower, a bucket of bleach, and a world that has smashed Murdoch and all his malevolent buffoons into a thousand tiny pieces and flushed them into the sewer of history.

FixedIt: Once again, rape and sex are not interchangeable words "IndyWatch Feed National"

Perth Now republished a report from AAP (a serial offender of inaccurate and awful headlines about mens violence against women and children) about two men charged with allegedly raping and sexually assaulting eight boys and men over two decades. The man was erased from the headline (senior arts figure) as were the alleged rapes (sex).

The Courier Mail erased the man and his alleged accomplice (theatre identities) and erased the alleged rapes (sex).

Ive lost count of the number of times Ive seen these headlines over the last eight years. Charges of rape and sexual assault minimised, misdirected, and mischaracterised as sex.

Its often about charges or convictions of rape, sexual assault, or sexual abuse of children, but it happens when men rape or sexually assault women too.

Rape and sex are not interchangeable words. Sex is a mutual choice and cannot lead to criminal charges. Rape is a deliberate decision to commit a violent crime.

When we blur the line between sex and rape, we erase the defining difference between them: consent.

The man was charged with 69 offences including indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, rape, attempted rape, recordings in breach of privacy, fraud, and common assault. None of those charges are about sex. They are about allegations of rape and abuse.

*Please keep in mind that this man and his alleged accomplice have not yet been tried on these charges. Any comments on social media that presumes their guilt or innocence is contempt of court and could put the trial at risk.*

FixedIt: significant and protracted attack is not an argument "IndyWatch Feed National"

The Courier Mail reported that a 30 year old man who committed what the Crown prosecutor described as a a significant and protracted episode of domestic violence was convicted and sentenced to three years in jail.

The attack started when the woman,16 weeks pregnant with the violent mans child, was driving him home. He yelled at her until she had a panic attack, risked her life by punching and kicking the inside of the car, then dragged her out of the car, strangled her, and punched her in the head and stomach. The attack only stopped when a woman passing by stopped an intervened.

This choice to commit horrific violence against a woman was described in this headline as a domestic argument.

The Oxford Dictionary defines an argument as a conversation or discussion in which two or more people disagree, often angrily.

TWO or more people, in other words, a mutual event, where both people are participating in making a point.

There were not two people participating in this choice to use violence. There was not a conversation or a discussion. One person the man chose to abuse, punch, and strangle another person the woman.

Characterising it as an argument is implicit victim-blaming. Its inaccurate, misleading, ignorant, and dangerous.

FixedIt: he didnt rape her because of financial stress "IndyWatch Feed National"

The RiotAct reported that a man who pled guilty to raping a woman after he robbed her at knifepoint was sentenced to 4 years jail (2 years, 4 months non-parole).

The man was described as a truckie, what a nice, friendly word for a rapist.

Despite the headline, the article says the judge found the motive for the robbery was financial, but the rape was opportunistic. In other words, he though he could get away with it, so he chose to rape her. He did not rape her because he was under financial stress, or because he is a poor sympathetic victim of anything. He raped her because he chose to commit a violent, terrifying crime against a woman. The report also says that before he left, he made her give him her phone and deleted her call log and message history. But after he was caught and charged he was, apparently, remorseful.

Rapists do not need journalists to make excuses for them. They have enough help with that in the legal system.

Channel 9 News reported that a man was jailed for 5 years after being convicted of raping a woman. Despite what you read in Channel 9s headline, he raped a WOMAN, not the barracks.

This is such a tired old trope. If you cant erase the perpetrator, erase the victim. Laneway Rapist. Tinder Rapist. Wheelie Bin Murder. Theres so many of them. Its insidious and we should be well past the need to protect violent men from the reality of their crimes. Mens violence against women is rampant. Research released by ANROWS this week shows the stats too many people were claiming as fact are woefully understating the prevalence of sexual violence.

Just over half the women who were aged between 24 and 30 in 2019 had experienced sexual violence at some point in their life.

Violent men have sexually assaulted more than half our promising young women and were still hiding rapists behind buildings.

Just. Stop.

The Northern Beaches review was one of a number of outlets that published an Australian Associated Press (AAP) report about a Melbourne doctor whose medical license was cancelled. The former doctor posted photos of naked dead women and children, statements about killing his wife if she was unfaithful, sexual images of his wife without her consent, and violently misogynistic and racist comments. The posts were on a Singapore forum, where he scornfully rejected any claim he could be reported to Australian authorities.

I understand not outlining the posts in detail. They deeply disturbing. But info? Really? Thats the word they choose to describe posts so vile even I cant bring myself to repeat them? Its one of the more bizarre erasures of male violence Ive seen in a while.

Note: AAP is a newswire service. Many publications subscribe and dont have the time or resources to check or review their articles. This is not about not any specific publication, its a symptom of an industry wide malaise.

If you need to know details about the doctor or the things he posted, they are on the VCAT database (link on my site if youre reading this on social media post).

FixedIt: you cant hide an alleged serial rapist behind sex offences "IndyWatch Feed National"

The Advertiser reported that a man was arrested and charged with sexual intercourse without consent (ie: rape) and released on bail. A week later he was arrested again and charged with aggravated indecent assault and rape of four more women. The report says investigations are ongoing and police fear there may be further victims.

*The charges have not yet been tried in court. The accused is entitled to the presumption of innocence and anyone commenting should be aware that comments making assumptions about his guilt which has not been proven are sub judice contempt and could put his trial at risk.*

These charges are not sex offences. They are rape offences. Rape and sex are not the same thing. They are not interchangeable words. Being able to differentiate between them is at the very core of understanding consent.

Journalists should know better. And do better.

US-led Unipolar Hegemonic Order an Abnormal State, Will Be Reformed Sooner or Later

By Global Times

Apr 11, 2023 09:24 PM

Illustration: Liu Rui/GT

In more than 30 years since the end of the Cold War, human society has been stuck in US' unipolar hegemony. It is by no means an abnormal state. Yet Washington is addicted to it and wishes to make it a lasting norm. When a growing number of countries start to pursue benign adjustments to that global order, the US seems to have ants in the pants.

Perhaps being shocked by the ongoing flurry of visits of European leaders to China, French President Emmanuel Macron's appeal on "strategic autonomy," and China's contributive role as a peace builder in the Middle East, some American observers and media outlets can hardly hide their anxiety. Fox News is quite blatant, claiming, "The Future is Now: China, Russia revert to pre-1989 world and fundamentally challenge the US-led West" on Monday. A headline in The Washington Post on the same day read, "China's new world order is taking shape." The article underlined that China's new initiatives over "security" and "civilization" essentially challenge the architecture of the US-led order.

What kind of order is the US-led order? There is only one answer to that question - the unipolar hegemonic order under US domination. Those analyses simply unveiled that the US is fearing losing its global leadership position. The country does not know how to face a different, multipolar order. Actually, it is resisting the arrival of such an order.

Therefore, whenever there are countries that are unwilling to obey US leadership or get in the way of the US cementing its leading role, Washington would feel like having a fishbone stuck in its throat and will waste no time bringing out its stick. To the US' surprise, today, even Saudi Arabia and France are tired of tolerating the US bossing them around or demanding obedience. That must have touched Washington's sensitive nerves.

Fox News compares the current international relations to the Cold War. This is an ignorant charge. "Th...

Why I dont name and shame journalists in Fixed It "IndyWatch Feed National"

This is a question that comes up quite often. Particularly egregious headlines will make people angry, which quite naturally, means they want someone to blame. I get it. I do too. This work would be so much easier if there was just one or two people who were the cause and the source of the problem. We could target them, and even if we couldnt change their minds, we might be able to change their behaviour and there you go, problem solved.

Unfortunately, thats just not the case. Anyone who has followed Fixed It will know the fixes happen across all mainstream publications that publish breaking news, crime and court reporting. (The reasons its focussed in those areas are complex. If youd like to find out more, its covered fully in the Fixed It book.)

After years of doing this work, I believe that targeting journalists who wrote an article published under a terrible headline does more harm than good.

Journalists almost never write their own headlines. It might happen sometimes in digital publications or smaller outlets, but its impossible to know for sure. Some newsrooms still have sub-editors to write headlines, but theyre mostly concentrated in print publications where headlines are about attracting attention and using space on the page. Digital headlines are more likely to come from journalists but they could also be written by an editor, another journalist, or a section head and there is no way of finding out who that might have been. Online headlines are usually written with the need to attract attention in mind, but theyre also about search engine optimisation and social media shares. Any number of people could be involved in this process.

To give an example, if a journalist from the Daily Telegraph wrote an article about a murder in Sydney, the headline for the print edition might be written by the sub-editor, the section editor or the head of the newsroom. The same article could go out on the Teles digital edition under a headline written by any of the digital editors or sub-editors working that day. The Herald Sun, the Courier Mail, The Hobart Mercury and NT News might all republish the article in their print or digital editions, and each of them might use a different headline written by a different person. The article might also be posted on Facebook under yet another headline from the social media manager, and on Twitter with a much shorter one written by whoever is running their twitter feed that day. Its extremely unlikely the journalist who wrote the article would be able to write or even keep track of all the different headers posted over their piece. Its equally impossible for someone outside all these newsrooms to identify the person responsible for one specific headline.

In the early days of Fixed It, I used to leave the journalists by-line in the headline image, which would som...

US-Philippines Largest-ever Military Drills Meet Fierce Protests and Criticism

By Deng Xiaoci

The US and the Philippines reportedly started their "largest-ever" military drills on Tuesday, involving more than 17,000 troops from both sides, as well as representatives from other countries, including Australia, which has met with fierce local protests against the increasing military presence of the US in the Philippines and warnings from observers of jeopardizing regional stability.

The drills include 12,200 US military personnel, 5,400 Filipino forces, and 111 Australian soldiers.

The event known as Balikatan 2023 that will last till April 28, came after Manila's announcement last week of the locations of four more military bases it is allowing the US military to use. One of them is in the north of Luzon Island, the nearest bit of land to the island of Taiwan. The drills also come ahead of a "2+2" meeting of defense and foreign ministers in Washington, DC from later on Tuesday through Wednesday.

The exercise incorporating training activities throughout the Philippines will also include a live-fire drill to bombard and sink a decommissioned ship in South China Sea waters. US warships, fighter jets as well as its Patriot missiles, HIMARS rocket launchers and anti-tank Javelins would be showcased, according to US and Philippine military officials, CNBC reported

The two countries will stage an amphibious landing on the western island of Palawan facing the South China Sea. It will also be the first time Philippine and US navy frigates fire their weapons toward the South China Sea from waters off Zambales province, north of Manila.

Protesters were seen burning a US flag as they expressed opposition to the military event outside the Armed Forces of th...

Report: Indonesias food estate program repeating failures of past projects "IndyWatch Feed National"

JAKARTA When the Indonesian government announced its food estate program in 2020, it envisioned the establishment of large-scale agricultural plantations across the country. These plantations of crops like rice, cassava and potato were supposed to be the answer to what the government says is an impending global food crisis, and would help feed the worlds fourth-largest population. But a field investigation at the sites of the food estate program in the Bornean province of Central Kalimantan by independent researchers in March 2022 and February 2023 instead found sprawling plantations that had been abandoned. Three years into the program, theres no rice or cassava crops ready to be harvested, and no farmers tending their fields. Instead, wild shrubs have sprouted on these plots of lands, and excavators have started to rust away, according to the investigation by environmental NGOs Pantau Gambut and Walhi Central Kalimantan, and BBC News Indonesia. In the village of Tewai Baru, Gunung Mas district, for instance, the investigation found 600 hectares (nearly 1,500 acres) of cassava plantations withering away. Villagers told the researchers that the crops hadnt been harvested. And despite being more than a year old, well into maturity for cassava plants, these crops appeared thin and stunted, the researchers found. The cassava tubers themselves were small, about the size of a human finger. The investigation also found seven abandoned excavators that no longer worked. Help with 5 day PD itinerary "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

Hi all,

Im visiting from abroad next week. Im going to spend four days on the spirit of freedom liveaboard solo, for scuba diving, before being joined by my partner (who doesnt scuba) in port Douglas on the 27th.

Heres what I was thinking for a loose itinerary:

APRIL 29: mossman gorge in am, do a guided walk in daintree forest in pm, do a croc river cruise at dusk. Sleep at cape trib beach house and maybe do a guided night walk.

APRIL 30: wake up, hike mt sorrow on cape trib, do a self drive up through Brookfield track in a 4wd to cooktown and back. In later afternoon, drive down to tablelands area, stay at an eco lodge down there.

MAY 1: wake up early, explore tablelands hikes/waterfalls. Late afternoon drive to cairns to sleep at hotel there.

MAY 2: wake up early for 6 am flight out of cairns to Alice springs for Outback time.

Would love to hear your thoughts on any recs/reorganizing of the above. Thanks!!!

NEW DAWN ON BOUGAINVILLE "IndyWatch Feed Niugini"

110423 President Toroama has warned against people trying to destabilize the Panguna Legacy Impact Assessment
New Dawn FM News

Bougainville President Ishmael Toroama has warned against people seeking to destabilise the Panguna Legacy Impact Assessment that is ongoing within areas affected by the now defunct Panguna Mine.
Several parties who are seeking legal action against Rio Tinto for their role in developing the Panguna Mine and the effects it has had on the environment and the communities around the mine.
The Panguna Legacy Impact Assessment is being funded by Rio Tinto through Tera Tech Coffey who are conducting the assessment.
This will be the first time Rio Tinto has made any commitment to Bougainville since the cessation of mining operations in Panguna, Central Bougainville.
According to President Toroama the assessment took a lot of hard work and time to get Rio Tinto to at least take responsibility for its actions in developing the Panguna Mine and the effects of it that continues to the present.
Let me be clear, my government is not protecting any other interest but the Panguna landowners and the people of Bougainville who suffered as a result of the mine, said Toroama.
Toroama said that the work into getting Rio Tinto on the scene must not be in vain.
Toroama added there has to be results that can guide the government and the company to resolving the problems from the mine. ENDS///

110423 Committee finds sponsor to support continuity of Siwai Cultural Show
New Dawn FM News

The Siwai Cultural show committee is seeking sponsorship to help support the continuity of Siwai Cultural Show this year.
The show has been recognized and planned under the PNG Tourism annual calendar.
According to the organizing committee the show provides economic growth to these leased developed districts with high poverty rate and a last frontier that no-one wants to go.
Tourism, Arts and Culture shows in 2019, 2021 and 2022 and the impact this show has made to the outside world has been enormous due to the great number of visitors to the district and the money spent in the district, said organizing officer.
The last show in August 2022 witnessed the first ever international tourist to the island after the opening of the borders when the Covid Pandemic travel restrictions were lifted and attracted over 20,000 visitors from within AROB and PNG.
We will be inviting leadership both from the ABG and National Government to officiate during the official opening on Friday August 11, 2023 and we are also expecting display from various corporate entities from around PNG and Bougainville for people to see and benefit from the various displays of information and products.
Due to the many logistic issues from transport and road situations and high cost of hosting a successful show in South Bougainville we will need to source more funds through fund raising activities and donations from corporate sponsorship, Donors and Government agencies to host a successful show from the last 3 shows (2019, 2021, 2022) we have committed over K260,000 allocated by various Government entities and corporate bodies like South Bougainville DDA, Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority (PNGTPA), National Culture Commission (NCC), Bougainville Copper Limited (BCL), Agmark, Autonomous Bougainville Government (ABG) and Jomick Co to host a successful show. Bitcoin and Global Hegemony "IndyWatch Feed National"

Both empirical realities and existing predictions show the usefulness and potential of Bitcoin as an instrument of national power in the practice of statecraft and also as a versatile element that could serve various roles under confrontational geopolitical conditions. However, it is unclear at this point if BTC and similar nonstate cybercurrencies could influence the fate of global hegemony. The historical record shows a strong symbiotic connection between the architecture of international monetary systems and political realities related to the global balance of power and the systemic structure of polarity. Specifically, major reserve currencies have always been issued by hegemonic great powers and underwritten by the strength that those superior positions confer. Such has been the case since the days of the Athenian drachma, the Roman denarius and the Byzantine solidus to the US dollar. In this regard, could the disruptiveness of unofficial cryptocurrencies like BTC have implications for the evolution of hegemony and the redistribution of the global correlation of forces in the coming decades? Admittedly, there is no hard conclusive evidence at this point but, from a long-range perspective, their existence is a relatively recent phenomenon, and the ultimate extent of their conceivable geopolitical ramifications remains unknown. After all, the arc of the so-called longue dure brings both predictable cyclical patterns and wild cards whose behaviour is hard to anticipate. Therefore, the formulation of an answer requires the practice of strategic foresight to assess multiple hypothetical possibilities and to determine how each could reshape hegemony. In order to do so, the present analysis integrates the scrutiny of forecasts, scenarios and perspectives. In particular, it seeks to identify the plausible implications of said cybercurrency for the hegemonic position still held by the United States as the leading superpower and the supremacy of the US dollar as the worlds top reserve currency.

BTCs potential as a major reserve currency

The idea of a major global reserve currency not controlled by any national state is not new. In the context of the Bretton Woods conference, British economist John Maynard Keynes proposed the idea of launching a supranational monetary unit, called Bancor, which would be backed by gold, a plan that was unsurprisingly not welcomed by Washington. No sane statesmen would have missed the opportunity to achieve global monetary and financial superiority as a war booty. In the post-Cold War era, the rise of Bitcoin endorses once more the hypothetical scenario of a de-nationalized global currency that cannot be unilaterally controlled in accordance with the particular interests of a singl....

The best and simplest explanation yet of the unlawfulness of the Voice referendum "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

Aboriginal activist Noel Pearson was taken under the wing of the large Melbourne Jewish law firm Arnold, Bloch, Liebler and given lessons by partner Mark Liebler, son of Isi Liebler who had strong ties with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.

Isi Libler was also Bob Hawkes personal solicitor and the firm then acted for the Australian Labor Party. The commentary in this video from Grandmother Mulara is as accurate as any we have seen in the current debate and is correct at law.

Would Noel Pearson, who has called Voice opponents racist, a strategy taught to him by the Jews, ever debate the officious Grandmother Mulara, a law graduate, about the hidden agenda of the Voice? We seriously doubt it.

She would expose his expansive curriculum vitae which could take this Aboriginal elitist out of the show.

Pentagon Document Leak "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

Last month dozens of top secret files where leaked to discord severs, the controversial message board 4Chan, Telegram an encrypted messaging app and Twitter.

The documents have sensitive information ranges from Ukrainian and Russian casualties rates, current Iranian nuclear activity, North Korean missile capability and Chinas possible reaction to a Ukrainian attack within Russia.  The leak also exposed which allies the US was eavesdropping on.

Russian media has capitalised on the leak to try and drive a wedge between the US and its allies but other than a formal complaint from two countries the Five Eyes intelligence organisations strategic ties remain strong.

The United States is still unsure who leaked the information and how they acquired it.

Yet to date most work was done on egg and embryo selection to boost success rates of IVF, and comparatively little on sperm selection.

UTS and NeoGenix Biosciences, a UTS Start-up, have created a new sperm selection device which closely replicates the female reproductive tract natural sperm selection process, ensuring the best and healthiest sperm fertilise the egg.

UTS researchers have partnered with Monash University and Australian IVF clinics like Melbourne IVF to test the new technology in clinical practice this year.

As the Treasurer Jim Chalmers has bluntly said there will be no extension to the middle and low income earner tax rebate and this could mean tax rebates of around $600 less come June 30 this year.

For the Government who ran an election campaign on cost of living pressures, this additional hit along with an estimated additional interest rate hike is going to hurt middle Australia most.

With the International headwinds cited by the Treasurer terms like belt tightening are soon likely to seep into economic commentary.

Travelling to Cairns for work this year, and I could use some tips! "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

Hey everyone!
I'll be coming down to Cairns for a work related conference this August and while I'm super excited for the trip, I have also never been to Australia before, and have little to no idea of how to prepare for my week there. For budget reasons, I was mostly looking at shared dorms for the duration of my visit, and the event that I'm attending recommended Gilligan's on Grafton St, which looks great online and is a very short walk from where I'll be working.
I'll mostly be free in the evenings only, so I was wondering what to do with my free time- I love stuff like museums and aquariums and have found some points of interest through Google, but I'd love to know which places are absolute musts while visiting.
I'd also really appreciate any tips for budgeting and how much of a daily budget to prepare for in terms of food and local transport. Work will take up most of my day during the week I'm spending there, but I was planning to stay for an extra day of sightseeing before heading home!
Lastly, do I need to keep an eye out for anything safety-wise, especially in the area (mostly between Grafton St and Wharf St) where I'm staying? I'll generally be traveling by myself, and I don't think this will be much of an issue- but I figured I'd cover all the bases.

Thank you all in advance for any tips or advice! Looking forward to visiting.

Australias New Big Corporate Tax Avoidance Laws World Class, Says Oxfam "IndyWatch Feed National"

Oxfam Australia has described the Australian Governments latest legislation on corporate tax transparency as world leading, hailing it as a significant move towards reducing tax avoidance in Australia and overseas.

The new legislation is aimed at ensuring large corporations finally start paying their fair share of tax.

Oxfam Australias Chief Executive, Lyn Morgain, said the Albanese governments legislation was a step towards reducing global tax dodging.

This legislation will expose global corporations shifting profits to tax havens and thus go a long way to stopping this unacceptable behaviour, she said.

Morgain added that the lack of transparency in the tax system has made it challenging to hold big corporations accountable for their actions.

The legislation will make waves across the globe in exposing corporate tax avoidance. This leadership by the Albanese Government is to be applauded.

Oxfam Australia CEO Lyn Morgain.

Oxfam Australias background work on this issue has helped draw attention to the problem, said Morgain. Since 2014, the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) has leaked a vast number of documents, including the Panama Papers and the Paradise Papers. The leaked papers have revealed how multinational companies and wealthy individuals use tax havens to increase their profits by avoiding paying taxes in their countries.

Oxfam Australia has released a series of reports that show how Australian companies have joined the global tax dodging effort, including through the use of tax havens. Morgain emphasized that tax dodging deprives some of the worlds poorest people of access to essential services, such as education, health, clean water, and sanitation.

Tax is crucial for governments to afford the services we all need an...

Uneasiness over Macron's 'Strategic Autonomy' Statement Shows Washington's Declining Ability to Maintain Hegemony

By GT staff reporters

Apr 10, 2023 10:03 PM

Chinese President Xi Jinping holds an informal meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Songyuan, Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong Province on April 7. Photo: Xinhua

French President Emmanuel Macron's remarks urging Europe to reduce its reliance on the US and to be cautious about being dragged into a conflict between Beijing and Washington over Taiwan question are being seen by observers as jamming the brakes on Europe that is being coerced into becoming deeply involved in the Taiwan question, and signals a dead end for the US strategy of luring Europe to contain China.

This rational and pragmatic warning appeared to alarm American politicians and media, who immediately criticized the French President. This discomfort mirrored Washington's declining ability to rein in its allies and growing anxiety in maintaining hegemony.

Speaking with media outlet Politico and two French journalists in an interview on his plane back after concluding his visit to China, Macron emphasized that "the great risk" Europe faces is that it "gets caught up in crises that are not ours, which prevents it from building its strategic autonomy," according to Politico.

"The paradox would be that, overcome with panic, we believe we are just America's followers," Macron said in the interview. "The question Europeans need to answer is it in our interest to accelerate [a crisis] on Taiwan? No."

He also noted that Europe had increased its dependency on the US for weapons and energy and must now focus on boosting European defense industries.

In response to Macron's latest take on Taiwan, Wang Wenbin, spokesperson of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a Monday briefing that China hopes all parties can recognize the essence of the Taiwan question, continue to stick to the one-China principle and oppose any form of Taiwan secessionist activities. The report estimates that there are 275,000 gig workers in Australia, and according to ISAs analysis, the average gig worker could have up to $29,000 more in their retirement savings if super contributions were paid to them.

ISA analysis shows the typical transport and food delivery driver gig worker misses out on $1,900 super contributions a year when working an average of 14.5 hours a week, earning $24 per hour. Spending three years in the industry would mean these super contributions would reach $17,200 at retirement and $28,700 if in gig work for five years.

A care industry gig worker a growing part of the on-demand workforce who earns the average $23.40 an hour and averages 8.6 hours a week would get $1,100 extra a year in super contributions.

Being a gig worker should not mean you miss out on the opportunity to save for a decent nest-egg at retirement, said Bernie Dean, Chief Executive of Industry Super Australia. Paying gig workers super isnt just the right thing to do, it makes economic sense because theyll be more self-sufficient in retirement and less reliant on the age pension, which we all pay for through taxes. These workers are critical to caring for our elderly, delivering food and driving us home, they have every right to share in the benefits of what is meant to be a universal saving system.

The report emphasizes that paying super to gig workers is crucial as many of them are young workers who are not earning super, including those with disabilities, students, or those who are unemployed. Small super contributions from gig work could make a significant difference to these workers quality of life in retirement, the ISA says.

The report also highlights that paying superannuation to gig workers is becoming increasingly important as the on-demand workforce continues to grow. A 2019 academic survey with 14,000 responses estimates that within a 12-month period about seven per cent of Australians were in on-demand work, and 13 per cent had undertaken digital platform work.

The federal government is currently considering legislation to extend the Fair Work Commissions powers to set a minimum set of employment standards for gig workers, which would include the payment of super. Mr Dean said ISA supports moves that uphold the flexibility and convenience of gig work, while ensuring a minimum set of employment standards.

FixedIt: Invisible perpetrators are everywhere "IndyWatch Feed National"

Sky News reported on the increasing number of women and children being forced into homelessness by violent men perpetrating domestic violence and structural poverty built into the housing market.

Somehow, they managed to do that without mentioning either the individual perpetrators of violence (mostly men) or the perpetrators of structural poverty (mostly coalition governments).

Violent men who terrorise women and children into homelessness are once again invisible. Families suffering from domestic violence got a mention, as did mothers escaping domestic abuse and violence with their children. The men who are so abusive that women and children are safer sleeping in cars and shelters than staying at home were erased from the story.

The video which inexplicably includes what I hope are actors playing out violent scenes is an interview with CEO of not-for-profit organisation Women and Children First, Dr Gabrielle Morrissey. She advocates for perpetrators being removed from the homes in which they commit violence, that they are held accountable by the legal system, and required to undertake therapy and education. All of this was erased from the headline and write up.

Shockingly, Sky News, also failed to mention the structural housing affordability crisis created by decades of government policy designed to benefit people who can afford to invest in property, ignore (at best) people who cannot afford to buy a home, punish people living in poverty, and keep wage growth low in an entirely successful effort to shift income from workers to corporations.

Dreamtime: a cruel delusion of British anthropologists "IndyWatch Feed Capricornia"

aboriginal-flagAboriginal land claims, native title and land rights are based on a false anthropological premise and are totally fraudulent according to astounding new Australian archaeological discoveries and recent linguistic studies.

The delusion of 40,000 years of dreamtime mantra is the product of untruthful anthropologists.

According to Alfred Cort Haddon, a turn of the century figure revered today as the founding father of British anthropology, the aborigines were clearly pre-Dravidian people from South India.

In Haddons 1909 book, The Races of Man, he asserts that Australia was originally inhabited by Papuans, or Negritoes, who wandered on the extreme south of the continent.

Later, a pre-Dravidian race migrated to Australia and overran the continent, absorbing the sparse aboriginal population.

Thus, said Haddon, the original aborigines were either driven off, exterminated or even partially assimilated.

Modern anthropologists have a real problem, should they try to dismiss Haddons findings. If they dismiss this work of the oligarchys icon of the time, they are also discrediting...

What Can Forced Vaccination Teach Us About Medical Ethics? "IndyWatch Feed National"

One of the greatest challenges I have faced throughout my medical career is having watched physicians on so many occasions push dangerous and unnecessary treatments on patients, assuring them that they are safe.

Some of these treatments inevitably injure those patients. When this happens, if the patient asks about causation, the doctor will tend to insist that the injury had nothing to do with the doctors therapy and instead attribute it to some other cause like pre-existing anxiety.

This dynamic is commonly referred to as medical gaslighting (summarized here), and one the most perplexing things about it is that the majority of doctors who gaslight their patients are very intelligent individuals who sincerely want the best for their patients. Since this profound contradiction is so systemic throughout the medical field, I believe that the problem transcends the individual doctor, and the root causes need to be examined to understand why it happens.

For example, I believe a major issue is that physicians go through a medical training process which does provide trainees with the capacity to be able to recognize most medical injuries.

Medical Education and Medical Ethics

Medical education is currently structured in such a way that medical schools are largely judged by their ability to prepare students to get good scores on board exams. As a result, pre-clinical curriculums are geared towards maximizing board-relevant content, of which there is a lot leading to the first two years of medical school commonly being analogized to the student drinking from a fire hose.

This, in turn, prevents a significant amount of material (which many believe is important for becoming a competent physician) from making it into the pre-clinical curriculum (which is a problem since the structured component of ones medical education largely disappears after the pre-clinical years conclude).

One of the largely neglected subjects in our medical training is medical ethics. Presently, medical school accreditation bodies require this subject to somehow be taught in the curriculum, and the medical board exams provide a few questions testing the subject. This results in the medical ethics education typically consisting of a few lectures that are largely geared towards learning the concepts tested on boards.

Board examinations, in turn, require one to understand the four principles of medical ethics (do no harm, conduct actions that benefit the patient, respect the patients autonomy, ensure limited medical resources are fairly distributed), and then answer logical questions pertaining to given situations. This process results in medical ethics being something that doctors can logically...

The impossibility of actual politics "IndyWatch Feed National"

After the Arab Spring, the African left was left demoralized and disorganized. However, a recent book argues that the revolution continues in quotidian life.

alt
Image credit Hossam el-Hamalawy via Flickr CC BY 2.0, 2011.

Twelve years have passed since the Arab Spring, and both Egypt and Tunisia are facing a stark economic crisis. Both are currently under the mercy of extremely unfavorable structural adjustment programs imposed by the International Monetary Fund, relying heavily on food imports, mired in debt, and facing historical inflation rates with unprecedented hikes in food prices. This dire economic situation is made all the worse by a relentless escalation of authoritarian measures in both countries. The prevailing atmosphere indicates that the counterrevolution has prevailed and that avenues of emancipatory possibility have shrunk almost to the point of extinction.

Every year, however, as the anniversary of the January uprisings approaches, dread ensues, not only because it prompts us to reflect on the defeat, but also because of the steady barrage of analysis we are inundated with, grappling with the same questions every year, and revealing an unsatiated desire to answer questions that we already probably know the answers to. Questions abound about horizontalism or verticalism, leadership, or leaderlessness that date back to the break between Stalin and Trotsky, which have eternally divided those in the 1917 camp vs the 1968 camp. Spontaneity contra organization ad infinitum.

A book that stands out in this genre, however, is Asef Bayats Revolution Without Revolutionaries: Making Sense of the Arab Spring. Published in 2017, it has become one of the most referenced in the field. In it, the Iranian-American sociologist grapples with the idea of what revolution means in a post-Cold War era. Bayatcorrectly in my opinionattributes the failure of the January uprisings, despite their extraordinary mobilization and resistance, to a lack of revolutionary vision, political organization, and a dearth of intellectual articulation by its leaders. He does so by comparing them to the revolutions of the 1970s when the concept of revolution was largely informed by socialism and anti-imperialism. Adversely, the January uprisings, affected by the NGOization of the world, seemed to be more concerned with democracy, human rights, and accountability.

Deviating away from the approach he took in Revolution Without Revolutionaries, Bayatin his sixth and latest book, Revolutionary Life: The Everyday of the Arab Spring...

Fighting the case against Julian Assange "IndyWatch Feed National"

Stephen Rohde reviews a new book by investigative journalist Kevin Gosztola about the persecution of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange (Truthdig 7 April 2023). The book outlines the lengths to which Washington has gone to get its hands on the journalist and editor, which includes deliberate lies and misinformation, the abuse of law and legal process, the use of slander to discredit Assanges reputation, and even plans to murder him. This, it is suggested, attacks freedom of the press and the democratic rights of everyone. Rohdes article, and especially Gosztolas book, Guilty Journalism: The Political Case Against Julian Assange. are must reads for those wanting to know the truth the most important political trial in our time.

Like the Trump administration that preceded it, the Biden administration is seeking the extradition of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to stand trial on an indictment under the infamous Espionage Act of 1917. As the unprecedented U.S. prosecution of Assange reaches a critical stage, a growing number of elite media outlets, human rights advocates and press freedom organizations around the world are demanding his release. All have expressed basic agreement with Nils Melzer, former UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, who describes the case against Assange as a scandal that represents the failure of Western rule of law.

Roads, human activity take a toll on red pandas: Q&A with researcher Damber Bista "IndyWatch Feed National"

KATHMANDU The spring season in the Northern Hemisphere is a critical time for red pandas, particularly in Nepal. This is the period when these furry, tree-dwelling animals spend a lot of time on the ground to look for food. Its also the time when breeding adults of the species, Ailurus fulgens, start to reproduce, and when cubs born the previous year explore their habitat in search of a new home. These are some of the findings conservationist Damber Bista made while working on his Ph.D. at the University of Queensland, Australia. As part of the study, Bista and his team fitted 10 red pandas in eastern Nepal with GPS collars, so that they could track them to look at the effects of human disturbances on the species. Mongabays Abhaya Raj Joshi spoke to Bista recently over video call to learn about his work. The following interview has been translated from Nepali and lightly edited for length and clarity. Mongabay: Could you please describe the main objectives of your study? Damber Bista: My main overall objective was to look at the effects of human disturbance and habitat fragmentation on red pandas. I tried to look at these issues from different indicators such as their space use pattern, daily movement and behavior while close to a road. Also, as we didnt have previous studies on how cubs disperse after leaving their mother, I also looked into it. The other objective was related to their recursive behavior under which they spend aThis article was originally published on Mongabay

The Climate Crisis Is Increasing Home Runs in Baseball "IndyWatch Feed National"

Why have the number of home runs struck at baseball games gone up since the 1980s?

There are many possible factors, from steroids to alterations in bat and ball design to improved analytics. But one part of the answer may surprise you: climate change.

Theres a very clear physical mechanism at play in which warmer temperatures reduce the density of air. Baseball is a game of ballistics, and a batted ball is going to fly farther on a warm day, Dartmouth College assistant professor of geography Justin Mankin said in a press release.

Mankin is the senior author on a unique study published in the American Meteorological Society Friday that found that more than 500 home runs since 2010 could be attributed to warmer temperatures from the burning of fossil fuels. That amounts to an extra 58 runs a year between 2010 and 2019, The Guardian pointed out. Or around one percent of recent extra runs.

We dont think temperature is the dominant factor in the increase in home runs batters are now primed to hit balls at optimal speeds and angles, lead author and Dartmouth geography doctoral candidate Christopher Callahan said in the press release. That said, temperature matters and weve identified its effect. While climate change has been a minor influence so far, this influence will substantially increase by the end of the century if we continue to emit greenhouse gases and temperatures rise.

By 2100 under these conditions, 10 percent of home runs or more could be attributed to the climate crisis.

The study authors looked at 100,000 major league games and 220,000 hits, and then saw which home runs occurred during warmer than average temp...

Ukraine attempts to blame Russia for humiliating Pentagon leak "IndyWatch Feed National"

By Ahmed Adel | April 10, 2023

The Pentagon announced it was trying to remove from the internet a major leak of secret documents which have exposed plans relating to Ukraines war on Russia. For his part, Elon Musk sarcastically highlighted the vain attempt, saying on Twitter: Yeah, you can totally delete things from the Internet that works perfectly and doesnt draw attention to whatever you were trying to hide at all.

The American billionaire derided on Twitter the Pentagons attempt to remove social media posts containing leaked classified documents relating to the conflict in Ukraine. The day before his tweet, the New York Times newspaper indicated that officials were not successful in removing the publications from the internet.

The leak was described to the News York Times by a senior intelligence official as a nightmare for the Five Eyes, the intelligence sharing apparatus between the Anglo countries the United States, Britain, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. Some of the documents were found on Twitter and other sites on April 7, a day after US officials announced that they were investigating a potential leak of classified Ukrainian war plans. These war plans include an alarming assessment of Ukraines faltering air defence capabilities and notes that 12 brigades are being formed for Ukraine, including nine trained by the US and other NATO allies.

One of the leaks, dated February 23, is labelled Secret/NoForn, meaning it was not meant to be shared with foreign countries, and thus confirms the secrecy of the documents.

It is the belief of Mick Mulroy, a former senior Pentagon official, that the leak is a significant breach in security that could hamper Ukrainian military planning as it reportedly prepares for a spring offensive. As many of these were pictures of documents, it appears that it was a deliberate leak done by someone that wished to damage the Ukraine, US, and NATO efforts, he said.

The Kremlin said it had no doubts about the participation of the US or NATO, direct or indirect, in the conflict in Ukraine. None-the-less, the leaks would still provide a fascinating insight for decisionmakers in Moscow.

The New York Times reported that the leaks appear to be legitimate Defense Department documents. None-the-less, this did not stop Ukrainian officials from suggesting that the leak was only part of a Russian disinformation campaign aimed at influencing Ukraines possible spring offensive.

Ukrainian presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak told Reuters that the data contained a very large amount of fictitious information and Russia was trying to seize back the initiative in its invasion. His claim, instead, is part of Ukraines disinformation campaign, one that has been insisted upon........

There was a time when a majority of states had adopted malpractice screening panels in some form. A 1984 analysis by the American Medical Association found 30 states had implemented panels at some point. The goal was to cut down on frivolous lawsuits and encourage settlements of legitimate claims.

Over the years, many of those states found these panels ineffective or in violation of their constitutions, and some did away with them entirely. But Utah remains one of 16 states where patients still must spend time, money for legal services and emotional energy recounting to a panel how a medical professional they trusted hurt them, according to a tally from the Nation...

How to Tame the Endless Infinities Hiding in the Heart of Particle Physics "IndyWatch Feed National"

This is actually important.  understand that empirical infinity is merely a very large number and its inverse is not zero.  This makes it a tangible thing in theoretical physics.  It leads to real issues and here a chap has gone out and advanced it totally.

The key thing tnhough is to understand that you must seprate mathematical infinity from empirical infinity and even if this is by accident by discarding or setting aside those nasty infinities, it is still dealing with something that is real.

This will ultimately shake out into a new branch of mathematics.  It is also looking very productive in terms of physics.

How to Tame the Endless Infinities Hiding in the Heart of Particle Physics

In the math of particle physics, every calculation should result in infinity. Physicists get around this by just ignoring certain parts of the equations an approach that provides approximate answers. But by using the techniques known as resurgence, researchers hope to end the infinities and end up with perfectly precise predictions.
